Project of a 2-room flat with a large kitchen-living room in classic style. The client's wish was to reflect the Italian holiday mood in the interiors. Those who have spent their holidays in traditional Italian hotels or villas will immediately recognise these Mediterranean features. Warm terracotta shades in the bedroom and bathroom, slightly aged stone tiles, bronze noble lamps and classic door and cupboard mouldings. In the corridor and kitchen-living room, we allowed ourselves to move away from the literal repetition of Italian interiors, adding sky-blue colour for the walls and bright ornamental tiles. Together with a large accent painting in the living room, it all reminds us so much of the sea and makes us feel relaxed after a hard day's work.

The flat was designed for 1-2 people. That's why we have provided a separate study, which can turn into a guest room if necessary. In the kitchen due to a small dining table we managed to place a small living area with a TV.
We revised the original layout of the partition walls and modified the corridor. By shifting the entrance to the kitchen, we were able to place a pencil cupboard for the oven and a furniture niche for the fridge at the entrance to the kitchen. This allowed us to keep both the large work surface in the kitchen and the small TV cabinet in the living room area.
