This studio flat for a couple is located in the Adler district of Sochi and has a beautiful sea view. We chose white colour for the walls, rough stone floor tiles, imitation beams for the ceiling and diluted the interior with burgundy oriental accents in the form of a carpet, cushions and an accent wall in the hallway. It turned out to be a bright holiday flat, modern, but with notes of Mediterranean mood. White colour for the walls will also remain relevant if the flat will be rented out later.
Floor plan.
When working on the floor plan, we immediately rejected the idea of zoning the space with partitions in order to preserve the feeling of spaciousness. But we left the rail cornices on the ceiling, so that, if desired, the bed could be enclosed with a dense curtain from the kitchen, small living room and corridor.
In the process of implementation, the layout was slightly changed in favour of a wider sofa, the TV was moved to the partition between the windows, and a fireplace appeared. We provided space for a deep wardrobe in the hallway and bedroom, as storage space is in short supply in holiday flats of this type.
